Catarina Lobão

I'm an Interface Designer currently at Significa, where I design digital products end to end, from discovery workshops and wireframing to design systems and shipped experiences. I've worked across health, marketing, social content and e-commerce, shaping apps, websites and platforms that balance usability and purpose.

Some of my most rewarding projects include designing a baby-tracking app that supports parents through the earliest stages of life, reimagining the digital presence of a fertility clinic network, and exploring new interaction patterns for a social-search app built around how Gen Z discovers content.

My journey in design started at Zippy (Sonae), where I was responsible for brand communication across retail, wholesale and digital channels, from campaign identities and photoshoots to social content. Earlier, I completed internships at Studio Eduardo Aires, the University of Porto Press, and Sonae MC, where I discovered the power of visual systems and storytelling in shaping experiences.

I studied Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto, a time when I fell in love with visual craft, iteration, and thinking deeply about how design interacts with people's lives.

Outside of work, you'll find me doing Pilates, at concerts, or out for coffee with friends.
